Kitten Natividad is a Mexican-American women who went from being an exotic dancer to the star of some of – her at one time lover – Rus Meyer’s sex comedies. Aside from her famous 44 inch chest she had a peculiarly charming sort of bubbly personality in the movies. I remember Russ Meyer crediting Kitten with turning him on to oral sex.

Her single great performance left me a Tura Satana fan for life.
From the New York Times obituary:
Her breakthrough role came in Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!, a Meyer exploitation film that, in stark opposition to the director’s later works, featured no nudity. In that film, Ms. Satana played Varla, the leader of a gang of go-go dancers who kidnap a couple, murder the boyfriend and force the girlfriend to follow them on further lawless adventures.
Ms. Satana’s portrayal of Varla as a brazenly violent but unapologetically feminine woman who frequently upbraids the men who dare to ogle her — when a gas-station attendant tells her he believes in “seeing America first,” Varla replies, “You won’t find it down there, Columbus!” — earned her a cult following that endured long after the drive-in era. …

Alaina Capri was the star of one of my favorite color films, Good Morning … and- Goodbye! But I’m fond of the movie because it also starred Stuart Lancaster. I wish -Lancaster had greater success. Capri didn’t make a strong impression on me but was convincing as a demanding unsatisfied wife.
She was also in Meyer/s Common Law Cabin, which I don’t remember clearly.

Edy Williams was once married to Russ Meyer and appeared in a couple of Meyer’s movies.
I must have seen Edy Williams in Batman and Lost in Space but I was too young to appreciate her. The first time I saw an image of her – a black and white photograph of in a bikini – it registered.
I’ve only seen her act in Beyond the Valley of the Dolls. Perhaps I’ll eventually watch The Happy Hooker Goes to Washington.
