Naturally if Bill Ward draws a mother-in-law she’s going to be a hyper-voluptuous, vaguely threatening red head.

Who’s mother is she? What does she want?

Imagine her garments as a cheerleading costume.

This Bill Ward cover implies that the football players are going to rape the young woman but the covers always implied events that didn’t take place inside the book.

I hope anybody who bought this electronic playgirl didn’t really expect it would live up to the Bill Ward illustrations. Or that the promise of a deep throat didn’t mean the doll could perform fellatio.

I Love Black Power, Dr Guenter Klow. Bill Ward cover art.
In addition to the sexual endeavors of older women Dr Klow also explored interracial sex.

Black Nylons, Volume 1 Number 5
Bettie Page and Bill Ward but sadly not on the cover.

Side Street, Arlene Duval. Bill Ward cover art.
Unique Books and associated imprints never used words to persuade men to buy their books. Prospective purchasers were to see the cover art and start thinking sexy thoughts.

Side Street’s back cover:

Being a domestic servant was just awful in this vintage trashy novels. Your employers were weird and threatening. Often you were accused to stealing someone’s jewelry.
Maid Service, Dominique Masur. Eric Stanton cover art.
Maid to Please, Eve Delon. Bill Ward cover art.

Society Madness, Bill Marshall
My own favorite of Bill Ward’s Wee Hours / Unique Books covers.
What will happen to the carpenter who walks in on the woman and the maid who is fixing her hair?

In Bill Ward’s glamour gag cartoon drawings he exhibited a real feeling for fanbrics, investing them with an almost intangile gloss. You still she that here.

Pickup, Jon Parker
Sex worker waiting for a client? Bad girl on the prowl? The man’s girlfriend waiting for him to pick her up for a date?

Just Friends, Peter Willow
The word friends was meant to suggest to the potential purchaser that the young women were gay. Their location that they were prostitutes.
But they were probably just clerical workers who shared the same office.

Extra Duty, Peter Willow
I suspect the implication of this Bill Ward cover is that the two young women are sex workers. Reading the book may have revealed the man was visiting the girls for the least exciting, most quotidian of purposes.

Bill Ward’s art often focused on lingerie. Nudity was mostly a late deveopment when he powers were fading.

My guess is that Just Once is a Unique Book about a man caught cheating on his wife.

Strange Mood with Bill Ward cover art. A Bill Ward peeper must surely be the sleaziest.

Shake Down suggests blackmail but the woman has a gun.

All Bill Ward housewives dress this way. Will the door-to-door salesman succeed in more than selling brushes to the lady?

I don't collect email addresses (except of those who become friends). What would I do with them? They aren't valuable unless you collect about ten million of them.

I've only just now learned of Justine Elyot's erotic novel with the same title of this site. We aren't (at least of this moment) aquainted. To learn about her book click on the title below.
