Why Do Women Tolerate Bad, Boring Sex?

Why do some women accept without complaint that their male partner isn’t providing sexual satisfaction.

“Women might be having sex for a dozen different reasons, only one of which might be that it feels good and is satisfying,” Derogatis told LiveScience. “It’s a path to intimacy, it’s a path to fulfilling a role of the woman or wife, it’s a means to keeping her partner happy, and on and on.

Naked Truth: Why Women Shrug Off Lousy Sex

Fulfilling a role, making the other person happy don’t seem the wisest of reasons.

I think many women eventually come to resent this. Some have a “mid-life crisis” that leaves them almost or actually loathing the man they’ve lived with for years.

How do the feelings of gay women compare to heterosexual women? Are they as likely to accept low quality sexual relations for as many years as heterosexual females?

Older Women, Younger Men : Myth?

Michael Dunn isn’t buying it. The noted psychology researcher at the University of Wales Institute in Cardiff has just released a study that he insists renders the cougar craze a “myth.” After examining the age preferences expressed in 22,400 singles ads on popular dating websites in North America, Europe, Australia and Japan, he found no sizable cohort of women seeking younger men. To the contrary, almost all of them wanted men their own age or older. Nor did he find evidence for the proliferation of cubs: the overwhelming majority of men displayed their eons-old preference for younger women. “I do believe the cougar phenomenon is a myth and, yes, a media construct,” Dunn, who specializes in human evolutionary psychology and mating behavior …

New Study Claims ‘Cougars’ Do Not Exist

A study on what is posted on the public profiles of people on dating sites is not going to be convincing.

Calling older women dating young men a ‘craze’ is a rhetorical trick. It is easy to say that the nonexistent doesn’t exist. A TV show and a movie hardly make a craze.

Some men do date women who are older. They have for a very long time. The sexual and social loosening up of the last few dates probably means a few more guys do so because they are less likely to feel shame or a loss of status.

Color Red Makes Men Sexy to Women

Research by one Andrew Elliot at the University of Rochester suggest that men should wear clothing to heighten their sexual attractiveness.

Primates can do this without clothing:

“In chimpanzees, the highest-ranking male turns more red quite dramatically during a competition for primacy,” he explained. “It’s a clear status indicator. Females view that, and they go out of their way to mate with the highest ranking male available.”

It is the chimp’s buttocks that redden.

Women find men in red more appealing?

Men Dancing : What Women Find Sexy

British evolutionary psychologists have been studying how a man’s style of dancing affects his sexual desirability.

“What we’ve done for the very first time is put those things together with a biometric analysis so we can actually calculate very precisely the kinds of movements people focus on and associate them with women’s ratings of male dancers.”

Reportedly women are most aware of a man’s upper body.

Surly sexy dancing is graceful and confident instead of clumsy or grandstanding.
